This site provides access to the National Alliance of State Animal and Agricultural Emergency Programs Best Practices Library.
The Best Practices section contains documents prepared by the NASAAEP Best Practices Working Groups. These documents are intended to summarize the Best Practices for that facet of animal emergency response.
The courses listed are those that NASAAEP Best Practices Working Groups were aware of and are not endorsed or evaluated by NASAAEP.
The documents and reference materials linked here are those that have been reviewed by the various NASAAEP working groups and represent the best practices in the field. The site is not a compilation of all available resources, but rather a selected listing.
The slides from selected 2012 Animals in Disaster Summit are now available.
The Animal Emergency Response Library was created and is maintained by the Center for Food Security and Public Health for NASAAEP.
